Our Mission

We believe the global food system could be healthier, safer, and more fair for all eaters. We believe that many global problems are linked and that help for those in need should not be siloed, but rather linked to extend the greatest benefits. Our commitment is to ensure that all children are able to grow and thrive and better their communities through good nutrition and education. By extension, families (especially mothers), farmers and community health and education workers are essential to ensuring that the next generations will be healthier, better educated, and ready to make the world a better place.

Not only in far-away places, but right here in America, there are children suffering from food that makes them overweight and often still nutrient-deficient. Our own countries' children are not getting the opportunity to be the best they can be and we want to ensure that good nutrition in schools is valued for the children down the street as well as around the globe.

The FEED Foundation is a fund that finds and supports sustainable solutions to problems relating to food, nutrition, agriculture and related causes around the world. We currently support international school feeding programs through the United Nations World Food Program (WFP). WFP school feeding is a simple way to bring hungry children into school and out of hunger. By providing a daily meal in school for over 21 million children in 74 countries, WFP school feeding has given those children a better chance and bettering their communities. See http://www.wfp.org/school-meals for more info.

From our start in 2008, the FEED Foundation, in partnership with FEED Projects, LLC, has provided over 50 million meals through WFP school feeding around the world. We look forward to your help in providing more.
